OFFICIAL ADVANCED-LEVEL QUALIFICATION IN MARKETING AND ADVERTISING

The advanced-level training cycle in Marketing and Advertising provides you with the skills to: define and monitor marketing policies based on commercial studies and promote and advertise products and services using the right media and communication channels.

The financial crisis and the appearance of new companies on the internet (both national and international) have meant that opportunities for the future marketing professional are practically assured.

The marketing professional is an expert in generating a “value proposition” and making a business competitive again. These days, they are an essential professional, at the heart of any organization. The professional market in this sector is crying out for professionals with the ability to be connected at all times, and who have an education and a way of thinking that are globally focused.

What you will learn with us

On completing your advanced-level training cycle in Marketing and Advertising with us, you will be able to:

Carry out the necessary steps for the incorporation and start-up of a commercial business, planning and managing the securing of the necessary financial resources to ensure the economic and financial profitability of the business.
Obtain, analyse and organize reliable market information, applying statistical techniques, and establish an effective marketing information system (MIS) that acts as a support in creating marketing actions.
Organize groups of surveyors or interviewers and conduct surveys or interviews, planning the field work and using the established techniques and procedures to meet the objectives set in the commercial research plan.
Assist in drafting and monitoring marketing policies and plans, analysing the marketing mix variables to achieve the commercial objectives defined by the company.
Draw up the advertising media plan for the business, combining them appropriately and carrying out their monitoring and control so that they are fully implemented.
Manage the launch and rollout of products and services in the market, applying the appropriate marketing strategies and promotional actions, in line with what has been established in the organization’s marketing plan.
Plan and carry out digital marketing actions, managing websites and communication systems on the Internet to meet the objectives of the company’s e-commerce policy.
Draft advertising/promotional and informative materials, respecting current advertising regulations and using publishing and design techniques and computer applications on various supports to disseminate them according to the scheduled plans.
Organize and manage marketing and communication events, interpreting the briefing, hiring providers, actors and agents, and attending and managing events to meet what has been established in the business communication plan.
Communicate fluently in English, both orally and written, with all the operators and agencies that take part in commercial operations
LANGUAGES

English is the most in-demand language and is now a requirement for almost any job. This is why we work in 2 seminars of 60 hours each, and also with a cross-disciplinary approach in all projects. You will learn technical English applied to real professional situations.

You can attain up to level B1.2. If you already have First Certificate level, we will validate it.

The students will work actively by themselves through processes of discovery, where the role of the professor is basically that of companion, catalyst and mentor (guide), far removed from the classical vision of the teaching process.

The commitment, then, is to a type of joint learning with methodologies that involve problem-solving, participation in project development, the joint creation of products, discussion and enquiry. The platform and the technological tools provided by the UOC will make it possible.

Ensures the proper development of the course plan of a project or seminar in line with the established learning objectives and academic organizational framework, and in coordination with the rest of the tutors in the cycle.

They are responsible for accompanying the students in a cycle’s workplace training (FCT). They ensure the proper development of the in-company internships of every student assigned to them in line with the academic organizational framework and in coordination with the rest of the counsellors and tutors in the cycle.

They ensure the proper monitoring of the studies of every student assigned to them in line with the academic organizational framework and in coordination with the rest of the counsellors and tutors in the cycle.

This is the person who focuses on the proper organizational and educational development of the academic activity of the vocational training courses, with the aim of ensuring that the students receive excellent quality education in line with the current regulatory and institutional framework.
Requirements to study on the course

To be admitted to the FP Jesuïtes UOC advanced-level training cycle in Administration and Finance, you will have to meet some of the following requirements:

  • Hold the Baccalaureate (LOGSE) qualification
  • Have passed the second year of any form of experimental baccalaureate
  • Hold the university orientation course (COU) qualification
  • Have passed the specific advanced-level training cycle admission test (you must be at least 19 years of age in the same year you take the test or 18 years of age if you hold a foundation degree).
  • Hold any other foundation or specialist qualification, or any equivalent university qualification for academic purposes.
  • Have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) for over-25s.
  • Hold any university qualification or equivalent.

ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD SOFTWARE

By studying the advanced vocational training course inMarketing and advertising with us you will learn how to use the prestigious Adobe Creative Cloud software: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. These are all vital tools for editing and composing images, illustrations and vector graphics, and for designing and laying out pages for digital and hard-copy publications.
